Job Description

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Function as the "go-to" person for the TV category as it relates to programming needs and site analytics/insights. Will also provide some "product management" functionality at times, contributing to the evolution of a category from a product offering perspective.

Understand the priorities of assigned category, recommending programming plans and content strategy for the category.  Will build campaign plans based on tier level, interfacing with the synergy programs team to determine suitability of plan as it relates to other category priorities.

Review analytics to understand category performance; making recommendations to change content, modules, site structure, etc.  Includes education of broader department and the relevant lines of business.

Be the production lead on category pages; functioning as the producer of the category site pages.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR POSITION

·         College degree or equivalent with work portfolio

·         Minimum 6 years content programming and planning experience

·         Analytical experience to include previous work analyzing web site performance & translating into meaningful recommendations

·         Established communication, people, presentation and organizational skills

·         Proven skills in a marketing role desired

·         Excellent indirect leadership skills with the ability to inspire and influence others that may not have a direct reporting relationship; negotiation skills a must

·         Proven ability to set strategic vision and drive business goals

·         Ability to "evangelize" new concepts and strategies for the site(s)

·         Ability to carry out complex and difficult negotiations

·         Strong experience with complex and strategically important initiatives

·         Knowledge of the interrelationships of internal departments and external clients

·         Knowledge of general brand development; understanding of The Client’s Brand preferred (the online network expertise strongly preferred)

·         Creative expertise and production experience with websites desired

·         Project management skills as it relates to multiple projects with varied deadlines desired

SPECIFIC SKILLS REQUIRED

·         Proficiency in all major aspects of website design and production

·         Experience in building budgets and project management timelines

·         Ability to build presentations via PowerPoint required

·         Outstanding attention to detail and organizational abilities

·         Exceptional interpersonal skills
